General information, not professional advice

The content on this website (service pages, cost ranges, FAQs, regulatory summaries) is provided for general information only. It is not health advice, legal advice, insurance advice, or a substitute for a professional on-site assessment. Every home is different, every mold event is different, and the specific right course of action for your situation is decided after an on-site inspection — not from a website.

Cost ranges are estimates

Where this site publishes cost ranges (for example, on the mold removal and remediation cost page), those ranges are estimates from previous work, for budgeting purposes. Actual Metairie quotes may fall inside, above, or below these ranges based on scope, access, materials, and market conditions at the time of the quote. The written scope after an on-site inspection is the operative pricing document.

Quotes and contracts

When you request a quote, we book an on-site inspection and you receive a written scope and price. The written agreement you sign for the work sets out what is included, the price and the warranty; nothing on this website adds to or replaces that agreement.

Regulatory information

Where this site references state or parish rules, permits or other regulatory frameworks, the information is presented in summary for orientation. Regulations change; the authoritative source is the relevant state or parish office. Always confirm current requirements with the applicable regulator for your specific job.

Who assesses and who removes

Louisiana law does not let a mold remediation contractor both assess and remediate mold on the same property, or own a share of both companies (La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23)). We keep the two apart. One firm looks at the property and takes any samples, and the same independent firm can check the rooms once the work is done; a different contractor does the removal. The law and the state's guidance are on the Louisiana Legislature's website, the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors mold remediation page and the Louisiana Department of Health mold page.

No guarantees

Nothing on this website constitutes a guarantee of outcome, timing, credential, cost, or availability. Mold remediation outcomes depend heavily on factors outside our control (moisture source fix by the homeowner, ongoing occupant behavior, structural conditions). No mold remediation service anywhere can guarantee zero regrowth.
